I am sooooo TIRED!!! Why is it that if you give a crafter 12 hours to set up their booth it takes 12 hours????? On Thursday were started set-up at 7am and did not leave until just before 7p.m.
My feet and back were killing me. 10x10 does not look very big when you have all of your stuff in it. Next year I will definitely have to get a booth and a half or a double booth. Ihad to play it safe for my first time in this show.
The crowds were good today, but I heard Saturday is much better. My space is small so I am a little concerned that I may lose customers because it is sooo crowded and people will walk by because my booth is full (I saw that a little today, but they did come back later) Sometime a full both works to your advantage, people wonder what is going on, and want to get in to see:)
I did have a great response from customers, I had several people say I had the best booth there! I only had to deflate my head a little to get out the door to go home. It does make me feel great to have people acknowledge my hard work.
I took 22 Painted Ices skates and I only have five left so I was happy about that, I also sold two of my large bells out of the five I took, I was happy for that because I usually never sell the last minute items.
after such a good day, I was literally around the corner from my parents house and my car SHUTS OFF in the middle of driving and now does not start!!!!! DRAMA!! There is no doubt in my mind that the bill for fixing my car will cost what I made today down to the penny. My dad will be taking my car to get it fixed tomorrow while I am at the show, because I need it Sunday to take my trailer and load up,otherwise I will have to beg a favor from my good friend Crystal.
I forgot my Camera at my mom's house so I will have to upload some booth pictures for you tomorrow or Sunday.
wish me luck!
