New Canvas Picture Frames

I have been working on some new frames between getting my orders finished. I am full steam ahead getting LOTS of new inventory for my fall craft shows. I will have my show schedule out soon.

Crafty Collaboration

I have been collaborating with 4 Mommy,Baby& Me a fellow crafter from 1000 Markets. I made a hat to match an outfit she made. These are some of the pictures she sent with her little model. I Made another hat for her, I will show you pictures when she gets them to me. Check out her e-bay auction.

Home Sweet Home

Just got home today,and ready to get back down to business, I was sooooo lazy during this trip. I took my laptop and said I was going to work at the hotel at night. I think that happened once. I have to admit that I needed the break. We had a great time, we visited places that I had not been to since I was 12 years old. We went to the building where my grandmothers lived, it bought back so many fun memories.

Sabrina liked staying in a hotel,but she heard the phrase "DON'T TOUCH THAT WATER"!!! waaay too often. In the room had bottles of water that you could buy for $3.50!!!!! I went to the circle K store and bought a 24 pack of water for $3.99.

I bought the lamp I have been dreaming of at IKEA for the past year, I am so excited to get it put together. If there was an IKEA in Las Vegas I would be in soooo much trouble!

We went to my niece's graduation last night, there was sooo many people there. It brought back so many memories, to see the stars in their eyes, the world at their finger tips, if I knew then what I know now :)

Today was picture day at Sabrina's school. so she got to wear her hair down, and she thought she was Beyonce. She was soooo funny spinning and flipping her hair.
I paid for the picture package,but I totally had to stay and take pictures behind the photographer (LOL, stage mom) I stuck around to make sure that her cap and gown went on straight. She does not get to go to kindergarten this year because her birthday is in December (total BUMMER). but she gets to "graduate" from the program. This time is going by soooo fast,where did my baby go?

I finished 10 frames and and five signs today!!! I even managed to to feed Sabrina... a couple of times.

I am going to be out of town for a week so I don't want any orders that were made this week waiting until I get back.

I am going to phoenix for my niece's high school graduation, I never get to go out of town,except for craft shows, so I am excited AND........... I get to go to IKEA!!!!!!!

I can't part with my computer so my lap top is going with me. I wonder if I would go through with drawls if I had to give up my computer for more than a day....I am not willing to try it.

I'd better go finish packaging these frames so I can go to bed.

Candy Dance, Here I Come

I am sooo excited, I just received my acceptance letter for the Candy dance craft show in Genoa Nevada. I absolutely LOVE going to this show!!
No matter how many years I get into a show, I am still nervous every time until I get that piece of paper in my hands,opening it....and praying it says congratulations :)
now I have to come up with the money.

Weekend Wrap-up

Wow, last week was a CRAZY hectic week, but I am totally not complaining. Thank you all sooo much for supporting me.

This weekend I was downtown at the Neonopolis Second Saturday. It was HOT!!!!! literally

The music was awesome. the band we had playing DL5 was a huge hit, they played original music and some cover music. We had a great time.

Field Trip....Fun???

So yesterday I went with Sabrina to the wetlands Park with her pre-school class.
we will just say it was HOT outside!!!! of course Sabrina loved it that's all that counts :)

The Craft Gods were smiling on me

Today was a FABULOUS day!!

My day started off at 4a.m (OK that is not the fabulous part). I got to the show at about 7am to find that the horrible wind and weather had completely destroyed at least 7 booths throughout the night.

But...My booth stood strong. I have not always been so lucky, when I first started out (and did not know about using weights) I had one canopy get completely destroyed.

Sales were awesome today, I was walking on clouds, and then when I got home, I checked my ETSY store and I made 9 sales today!!!

I hope tomorrow will be as great :) Sabrina will be coming out tomorrow, ( I had to sneak away today)

OMG I can't believe I forgot about the lady that tried to steal two signs from me!! I was helping another customer, and my brother kept telling me to hold on a minute....so I see him walk up to this lady (late 40's early 50's) pushing a stroller, I see the lady looking through the stroller with a confused look. My brother calls me over, and the lady says I don't have anything,my brother reaches in the stroller, and pulls out two signs. I was sooo mad,but it caught me off guard and I did not want to make a scene. the lady says she wants to pay for them, and says "oh I want to buy something else", so she hands me a credit card and says she wants to look around. In my head I was thinking,I bet this is a stolen credit card. She walked around a little longer and waited until I got busy again, and then I saw her take off as fast as she could down the street. and left the credit card!! I took the card to the police station. I bet she stole everything she had in that stroller!!! some people! did I mention that there was a baby in the stroller?

someone had the nerve to say "this economy is making people do some things they would probably never do"

WHAT!!!!!!!!!

Those signs are not going to feed her hungry children!! how can people blame the economy for someone being a thief?

Spring Jamboree Set-up

I spent this morning getting set-up for the Spring Jamboree craft show. Th weather was so beautiful, I LOVE Boulder City. I took some pictures of my booth before we got all set up, I will have to take more in the morning of my finished booth. It should be a fun weekend.
